     I've just finished reading a Charles Dickens novel.  What a great writer!  I couldn't understand much of it when I got about half way through, though, children, as the language was so archaic.  Take a dictionary with you when you read it, then you'll understand it.
     I've read Monica Dickens too, by the way, Charles Dickens' granddaughter, and her exploits and she's hilariously funny.
     Back to Charles Dickens - my mother said she read the Complete Works of Charles Dickens by the time she was eight years old.
